Local breast cancer foundation holding "band bash" fundraiser

The Terri Brodeur Breast Cancer Foundation is hosting a “band bash” at Stash’s Café in New London to raise money for breast cancer research.

Four local bands, Fat Betty, RiverGods, Johnny and the East Coast Rockers and High Time will play at the event, which begins at 1:30 p.m. June 24.

The organization is named for Terri Brodeur, a former Old Saybrook resident who died of breast cancer in 2003.

Tickets for the show are $15, and will be available at the door. All proceeds for the event go to cancer research.
