Legionnaire's Disease investigated

The South Dakota Health Department says it has closed its investigation into a case of Legionnaire's Disease in Sioux Falls.

Officials say it's an isolated case, and they get reports of a half-dozen or so cases of Legionnaire's Disease each year.

More than a dozen people caught the disease in 2005 at Rapid City, and one of them died.

The fountain at a Mexican restaurant was determined to be the source of the problem.

Legionnaires' disease which is a form of pneumonia is caused by exposure to bacteria in a mist or vapor.
