Man dies of legionnaire's disease in southern Spain

Spain - A 68-year-old man has died of legionnaire's disease in the southern Spanish tourist resort of Benalmadena, health officials said Monday. Fourteen more people were reported infected.

The bacteria causing the outbreak were believed to have spread from a cooling tower pertaining to an ice skating rink. The responsibility of the companies managing it was being investigated.

Legionnaire's disease is a type of pneumonia. Symptoms include fever, chills, a cough, muscle aches and headaches.
